The Hakametsä arena follows both national and local instructions concerning the coronavirus. The purpose of the special arrangements is to ensure a safe experience for everyone and make the potential tracing of predisposed persons easier if necessary.
The arena has been divided into six segments and each segment has its own entrance, restrooms, restaurants and sections that sell fan products. Hand sanitizer is provided broadly in every segment and extra attention is paid regarding disinfection of surfaces.
During matches spectators are permitted to freely leave the arena and return through showing their ticket. However, moving from one segment to another within the arena is prohibited. Because of these special arrangements some activities are restricted. For example, taking pictures with the players or collecting autographs is not possible.
Because of the restrictions concerning restaurants, the consumption of alcohol drinks is only allowed within restaurants where each client has an own seat and a table. In addition, products purchased from the hallway (soft drinks etc.) must be consumed in one’s own seat next to the rink. To increase everyone’s safety, it is recommended to use contactless/mobile payment.
Stewards/doorkeepers and the whole staff helps and gives advice to spectators and answers to possible questions that may arouse. The staff uses proper protective clothing and works primarily within the same segment throughout the event.
We also want to remind everyone attending of individual’s personal responsibility and we ask you to keep a safe distance both when in queue and outside the arena. If you feel ill, you should skip the event and focus on taking care of your own – and at the same time other’s – health.
Tickets and seats
Everyone entering the arena has to have a ticket to the match. In addition, by the recommendation of authorities, contact information is collected during the purchase of the ticket if tracing of predisposed persons is necessary. Because of this reason none of the free cards/tickets are valid.
We recommend acquiring tickets in advance via website or sales office of Lippupiste, if possible. The ticket selling booths in Hakametsä will open an hour before the match starts. There will be an individual selling booth for each segment.
Concerning the preseason matches hosted by Ilves (19.8. Ilves-JYP and 9.9. Ilves – Lukko), there will be tickets available to segments 1, 4 and 5 at first. Ticket selling to other segments starts when the previously mentioned segments are sold out. Tickets to 3v3 Super Series -tournament hosted by Ilves and Tappara together are currently sold to segments 1, 2, 4 and 5. Preseason tickets are not numbered meaning that you can freely select your seat within the segment but keeping the safe distance.
Season ticket holders may freely pick a segment of their choice and go directly to segment-specific queue where they are given a ticket to the match after their season ticket is scanned. Segment-specific ticket should be presented to stewards every time when entering the arena. Children under seven years old sitting on adult’s lap will also be given an individual ticket at the entrance of segment.
