We at Ilves, have followed the development of the situation in Ukraine in shock, and condemn Russia’s military aggression and the violation of international law. We are deeply concerned about the security of the Ukrainians and the current humanitarian crisis.
The International Hockey Federation has suspended Russia and Belarus from IIHF competitions. At Ilves, we consider this decision appropriate, and the only correct solution.
The Ilves family also includes Russian citizens, both supporters, and players. We would like to remind you that we are against any form of discrimination, including discrimination of an individuals nationality.
