Defenseman Juuso Pulli, 30, joins Ilves on a tryout to cover for absences in the teams defence. Pulli’s contract in open-ended.
Juuso Pulli has previously represented JYP, Tappara and Ilves during his Liiga career. During 2013–2018 seasons he played 161 regular season games in total and scored 32 points (11 goals, 21 assists). He also added three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 27 playoff games. The defenseman won the European Trophy and two Liiga bronze medals while representing JYP. Pulli was named alternate captain when he played for Ilves in 2017–2018 season, which was his last season in the Liiga before spending three seasons abroad.
This October Pulli joined the Finnish Mestis team IPK on a contract that lasted until the international break in November.
