There are seven pre-season games Ilves will play before the start of a regular season. The last one will be hosted by HIFK in Helsinki on Wednesday 23rd of September starting at 6:30 pm.
In addition to Tappara and Ilves, also HIFK and Lukko are going to participate in the Wisehockey Tampere Cup. Moreover, apart from Ilves, also HIFK, Kärpät, Tappara and TPS will compete in a new 3v3 Super Series -tournament. Matches are hosted by three cities: Turku, Tampere and Helsinki and will be played using the 3-on-3 overtime format.
The number of spectators in the arena will be regulated according to the most current COVID-19 restrictions. All the safety regulations issued by the authorities will be followed.
