Ilves and HIFK have agreed to extend goaltender Roope Taponen’s loan deal until December 17, 2021.
– We want to thank Roope and HIFK for cooperation and for making the extension of the loan deal possible. Roope’s attitude, work ethic and personality allow his development to continue. Without doubt he has a bright future ahead on his career. Roope has adapted superbly to our team, and we are happy to continue the cooperation. It is possible that he will also play for the Mestis team Kiekko-Espoo during this loan, says Ilves sport director Timo Koskela.
